Reviews and Ratings
Our department had a great workshop stay with a group of 14 people. The food was fantastic, and the staff truly went above and beyond. However, the beds were a bit small initially, but they quickly resolved that issue. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for a team gathering.
My stay had some highlights along with a few disappointing moments. The location near Phalaborwa is beautiful and adds a serene touch to the experience. I found the rooms to be tidy and in good condition, but the admin side of things could definitely use improvement. While the staff was friendly and the food tasty, the challenges with service delivery and the dining experience really hindered what could have been a great trip.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On one hand, I enjoyed the spacious and clean rooms, and the staff was eager to help, especially during check-in. On the downside, the dining experience left a lot to be desired, with cold food and lackluster service. It seems like there's potential for improvement, but I wouldn't say it was ideal overall.
Returning to the Tzaneen Country Lodge for our second visit was just as enjoyable as the first. The lodge boasts excellent facilities, including a restaurant with delicious meals, a cozy bar, and a beautiful animal farm with wildlife. The spa and massage services added a relaxing touch. Although we had a fantastic experience overall, one visit had some dining issues that could be improved. Nevertheless, the value for money is outstanding, making it a perfect getaway for adventure and relaxation.
Tzaneen Country Lodge offered us a lovely weekend experience, blending nature with comfort. The lush gardens and inviting atmosphere made it easy to relax. While the rooms were tidy and well-equipped, the dining experience fell short due to uninspiring menu options and inconsistent service. Overall, it's a beautiful place to stay, but there were areas that could use improvement, especially in the restaurant.
